Dallas County Reports 100 New Coronavirus Cases in North Texas

Recently, Dallas County reported 100 new positive cases of Coronavirus, bringing the current total to 831 in the county.

The COVID-19 virus continues to spread throughout the world, and Dallas County has been hit extremely hard by this global pandemic. Alongside the 100 new positive cases, reports show that two more people have died as a result of COVID-19. The county reported that a woman in her 70s and another woman in her 80s were deemed “critically ill” before passing away from the virus.

Roughly 75% of all patients requiring hospitalization have been over 60 years old or have had at least one known high-risk chronic health problem, according to officials. High-risk chronic health problems include diabetes, which has been reported in more than 25% of all patients requiring hospitalization.

Stay-at-home and shelter-in-place orders have become commonplace around the world. In Dallas, county judge Clay Jenkins recently extended the county’s stay-at-home order to April 30. Staying indoors is a crucial component of flattening the curve and stopping the spread of this terrible virus. Individuals are ordered to stay in their homes unless they are going out to pick up groceries, medicine, or conduct essential business.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends taking everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

● Stay at home if you are sick, except to seek medical care
● Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and help young children and the elderly to do the same. If you do not have access to soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol.
● Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands if they are unclean.
● Avoid being in close contact with people who are sick or appear to be sick.
● Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces around your home or business. You can use regular household cleaning sprays, or disinfectant wipes.
● Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and immediately throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve, but never your hands.

I was pulled over on the North Dallas Tollway for going 90 mph. The cop said that I was all over the road, and failed all the field tests and was obviously intoxicated. I pretty much lost all hope that I would walk away from this. That was until I found Richard McConathy. Richard and his firm fought the DA and eventually got my case dismissed. I couldn''t give a bigger recommendation for these guys. If you''re in trouble don''t hesitate, it is worth it.

The law offices of Richard C. McConathy represented me with the utmost professionalism and they secured a victory for my probation revocation case. My case was nine years old and I was told by other firms that it would be very difficult to get the judge to revoke. This firm took my case on, and not only won the judgment, but also got the original probation case conditions dismissed. I highly recommend this law firm to any person in need if legal representation. They are very considerate and extremely knowledgeable.
